The Finance Department's diversified responsibilities include: the formulation and administration of the City's annual budget; the collection of all revenues; including real property tax billing and collection, water/sewer billing and collection, the administration of grants from federal and state sources, payments to vendors for services rendered, the City's payroll, health insurance, worker's compensation, deferred compensation, NYS retirement, the administration of Tax Sales, filing of Tax Liens and Redemptions and servicing the City's financial portfolio.
Hours of Collection: 8:00 am through 4:00 pm. Monday thru Friday

First Installment is due on or before March 1st
On March 2nd a 2% penalty is charged.
Beginning April 1st there is an additional interest charge at the rate of 1% per month.
Second Installment is due on or before July 1st
On July 2nd a 2% penalty is charged.
Beginning on August 1st there is an additional interest charge at the
rate of 1% per month.
WATER/SEWER BILLS
Issued three times a year: January 1st, May 1st, September 1st.
(Consumption greater than 500,000 gallons per year are billed monthly)
Payments are due within 30 days.
Payments received after 30 days are subject to a 5% penalty.
Payments received after 60 days are subject to an additional 5% penalty.
