Middletown BID

The Downtown Middletown Business District was established in 1992, a not for profit organization administered by an eleven member Board of Directors.

The Business Improvement District in partnership with the City of Middletown has a district mission to improve the downtown business climate.

This goal is achieved through an extensive program of community events such as: Holiday tree lighting, a weekly farm market beginning in June through October, floral plantings, decorative banners, litter control, an active crow abatement program, business recruitment, and coordination of activities with the Middletown Civic and Cultural Affairs Department. This concerted effort enhances the atmosphere of our Downtown Business Improvement District.

Middletown Pride Clean-Up Project

It is the goal of those involved in this event to continue to build upon the efforts made by the many organizers and volunteers who have made this effort possible. We intend to continue with periodic Pride/Clean-Up events and to expand these efforts citywide. It is our hope that together we can restore a sense of community pride and shared effort in promoting and maintaining a clean and beautiful city for all of us to enjoy.

Contact the City Clerk's Office at 845-346-4166 for more information.

City Pride Clean-Up and the City of Middletown would like to thank all the volunteers who helped in this years Clean-Up.

Description of Events:

  • Volunteers will be provided with the following materials: An event t-shirt, gloves, bags, and grabbers
  • Groups will be assigned specific streets or locations
  • Busing will be provided to bring volunteers to and from their designated area
  • Restroom facilities will be available at City Hall
