Middletown Farmer's Market, one of the oldest in Orange County, will open for business on Saturday, June 4, 2016 on Erie Way, between Montgomery and Cottage Street. The Market will be open every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM until October 22, 2016.
The Orange County Board of Elections is seeking enrolled Republicans and Democrats to seve as Election Inspectors for the upcoming elections in 2016.
The upcoming Elections are:
- Presidential Primary 04/19/16
- Federal Primary 06/28/16
- State and Local Primary 09/13/16
- Presidential General Election 11/08/16

On Tuesday, October 6, 2015 the Common Council held a public hearing on the impacts of speeding on City of Middletown Streets.
On October 9, 2001 there was a public hearing on speeders on Highland Avenue which establihed a Ad-Hoc Committee on the subject which resulted in a Traffic Study on Highland Avenue.

The contents of the capsule is in the process of being preserved with the recomendation of a historical preservation company who preserves our historical records for City Hall. After the preservation process is complete the contents of the time capsule will be on display in City Hall. Please check this website for futher details on the time line of the display.

As soon as the preservation process is complete we will have the contents scaned and on the website. Below is a sample of a 1899 silver certificate dollar that was in the capsule by Hulse Brothers Jewelers and Optometrists at 9 James Street dated August 2, 1910.
