Road Work Notice
DPW and City of Middletown contractors will begin a Crack Seal Repair operation on Monday July 26, 2010 at 7:00AM, starting with Highland Avenue, Academy Avenue, Starhaven Avenue and Kennedy Terrace. Each Street will take approximately one day to complete.

Some traffic delays may be encountered. Please plan accordingly.

We Are Rebuilding Our City!
Attention, a major Water Main construction project involving lane closures along County Route 78 in the Town of Wallkill, NY and the City of Middletown, NY (Maple Ave and California Ave) is scheduled to start Monday, May 17, 2010 and have a duration of approximately 12 weeks. The designated work zone is along County Route 78 from Egerton Road to High Barney Road. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes to avoid expected delays.

Issued three times a year: January 1st, May 1st, September 1st.
(Consumption greater than 500,000 gallons per year are billed monthly)
Payments are due within 30 days.
Payments received after 30 days are subject to a 5% penalty.
Payments received after 60 days are subject to an additional 5% penalty.

Master Plan Project:

The second part of our Comprehensive Plan for the City of Middletown was presented to the public on Sept. 24th. This part consists of Conceptual Plans for critical areas of our city. We were assisted by the professional planning firm Saccardi & Schiff, Inc.

The first phase of the Plan was an analysis of our existing conditions. This second part is a visual rendering of our plans for future development of these critical areas.
